Virtual Services

Interested in our Virtual Services or Visitor Program? Call and talk to us at 214-329-9017 or 817-500-4863, or read more about them below by clicking the question for an expanded answer.

What virtual services do you offer?

For virtual services, we offer psychotherapy and counseling, which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Performance Coaching. Learn more about these treatments here.

We offer online brain training with weekly review and monitoring to achieve specific training goals, including memory improvement, concentration and stress management.

We offer guidance on supplements with evidence-based solutions that are linked to knowing how the brain works. Recognizing the gut is the second brain, it all starts there to help you understand how to eat brain healthy and supplement the brain with what it needs.

How do I get started with virtual appointments?

The first step is a 30-minute Free Consultation with our Clinical Director Leigh Richardson over the phone or via Zoom or Skype. This is a time to talk and understand your needs and goals, and to determine the best fit that can help you achieve them. To schedule an appointment, call us at 214-329-9017 or 817-5004863, or send an email to leigh@thebrainperformancecenter.com.

How does a Virtual Psychotherapy Program go?

Once you have decided to pursue the program, we will proceed with the first appointment via Zoom or Skype to conduct a full intake on thoughts and behavior that you want to change. The succeeding virtual appointments will be for the psychotherapy or talk therapy sessions.

How much does the Virtual Program cost?

Each program is priced differently and pricing is based on the level of service you require.

What forms of payment do you accept?

For all virtual sessions, we accept credit, debit and HSA. Payment is on a per session basis.

For psychotherapy treatments (counseling, CBT, DBT and performance coaching), we can check for your insurance’s eligibility.

For online brain training and supplementation, we do not process insurance claims. We can’t guarantee that our services will be covered by insurance but we can provide invoices with proper codes if you wish to submit them manually to your insurance provider as out-of-network coverage.

What if I would like to visit your clinic?

If you would like to come in from out of town, we can offer our Visitor Program at our clinic in Dallas. We conduct all of our treatments there which include Psychotherapy, Neurotherapy and Integrated Approach therapies. Learn more about our different treatments.

What is the Visitor Program?

The Visitor Program is especially designed for people coming in from out of town who wish to avail of our intensive therapy program for about 2 to 4 weeks only. This program utilizes Neurotherapy or Integrated Approach therapies depending on your needs. All sessions are done at our clinic in Dallas. Please call us directly and we can provide you information on restaurants, car service and lodging.

The first day includes the assessment or evaluation which lasts approximately 2 hours and is comprised of 3 tests. We map the brain 2 ways: with LENS to look at neuroplasticity, and a QEEG that is a brain map that looks at the power and timing in the brain and how it shares information. Next is a Neurocognitive Test that looks at the brain 4 ways: self-regulation, emotions, feelings, and thinking. If the main concern for a child under the age of 12 is ADHD, we will do an IVA (Independent Variable Analysis) Test that looks at how the brain processes information both visual and auditory. The results of the assessment are used to determine what types of neuromodulation and neurofeedback will be utilized in your treatment program. The total charge for the assessment is $650.

Then we will schedule Neurotherapy that include neurofeedback, biofeedback, neuromodulation or LENS, or Integrated Approach treatments by adding Psychotherapy or talk therapy. Our sessions are $145 for 50 minutes of any kind of treatment. For the Visitor Program, we recommend 1-2 sessions per day for 6-7 days per week depending on schedule availability, at an average of 25-30 sessions total. We can compress or spread out the sessions depending on your length of stay, with the maximum of up to 2 sessions per day only.

We expect you to see some change around 6 sessions but for the change to hold in the brain it takes more reinforcement. We want to take you as far as you want to go. For more information, just call us at 214-329-9017 or 817-500-4863.
